Annual CVG Snowfall Contest 2021-2022

Not a big fan of winter so don't have any prediction, but re deicer products i.e., hopefully everyone is well stocked for icy sidewalks and driveways already because prices and quantities could be questionable due to "Capt" Pete and his supply chain standstill disaster.

An order of ice melt (environmental-friendly) arrived today at my folks and my house. Its the same kind of mixture we've used during the past few years.

I use the good stuff. Driveway Heat by Prestone. It's not that rock salt BS that hurts your concrete or kills your grass. It works better in colder temps as well.

This is what my folks and I use and its concrete and grass-friendly, too. Its great for temps as low as -15F.

We order it from a store called Sporty's in Batavia, OH.

1ST snowfall- 11/25/21 Thanksgiving

Total snowfall- 26.8 with much of that before Feb 1st

Total snowfall for CVG Nov 1 - Mar 31...31" Most will fall in early December, middle of January and end of February. That's my guesstimate!

Hi Les, I will once we start seeing the potential winter storms developing, I think that we'll start seeing that potential beginning after Thanksgiving and going strong in early December. Looking forward to it!
