I'm probably out of the loop. I know Norman Oklahoma used to issue all severe thunderstorm and tornado watches. Has that now changed?
Doug that is a great question and I forgot that they issued the severe weather. I guess they still do but I am sure they are in touch with each local NWS before issuing a watch or warning.

Hopefully you guys and gals have brought inside any loose items that could be potential airborne "missiles." I brought in some planted pot flowers, some on a rack and all, and an outside chair.

Debris clouds and showers developing ahead of the activity looks to be causing a disruption in convective maintenance to our west. Threat for Cincy appears to be decreasing.

Was popping by to say this. Unless there’s enough sun to get things going again behind the main line ahead of the front, the immediate area is looking fairly OK right now.

Yup I think we’re out of the woods here. Threat remains for KY counties especially south of Boone, Kenton, Campbell.

Looks like some light rain coming my way, probably less then what I got this morning. 0.11" is my current total going into the current round. SW of us is the place to be with this one. Models certainly busted on coverage IMO as well as timing.

Good Evening and maybe the models were not great but I was not either on this forecast. When you see energy that is split you must be careful as this can lead to an area between the two pieces that gets the shaft sort of speak. One piece in southern Michigan so you are seeing some stronger storms in Northern Ohio and southern Michigan and with the heat and humidity to the southwest some of those storms sort of headed towards that area. I believe yesterday Bgoney mentioned how some severe weather was possible but rainfall might not be for everyone and that looks to be the case. Well done. We saw the heat index southwest of us getting between 95-100 around Louisville but we made it to 90 or 91 at best and though that seems warm enough the storms on the south part of this system headed towards those areas

I like seeing additional development too our NW for rain prospects. I'm glad my car and crops won't get damaged. Lawn and gardens need the rain. Currently down to 77 degrees here with light rain falling and some thunder and lightning. Nothing severe. No wind or hail.

So far radar is not looking good for development of a lot of severe in the area. Worked today and could definitely tell the dew point was up.

Hopefully our guys can get back on track again as they head to Baltimore to play the birdies for a 3 game series.

The O's are tough though, too, this season so we'll see.
