Nice win by the Bengals. During the Marvin years we could never win a game like that. Biggest play of the game is the goal line stance just before the half ended. Played without Bates who is the leader on defense and it showed the 1st half. Next up is Rodgers and the Pack. I have tickets for that game and the 1st time back since the playoff loss to Pittsburgh. Bengals are 3-1 and again the teams they played are just not top notch but you can only play the teams on the schedule. Would be happy to be 5-5 and the end of the year schedule has many games at home. Two really good QB'S and they should be around for many many years.

Great post, and it would have been an embarrassing loss to lose to the woeful Jaguars but Burrow kicked it up about 100 notches in the second half. I believe they had a 20 game losing streak when down by 14 or more snapped in this game. This is definitely not the Bengals team of the past 30 or so years.....many past Bengals teams would have lost this game.

Thanks and they did talk about the freezer bowl on the broadcast last night. My car barely started but made it to the bar and watched the game. The week before San Diego played Miami in one of the best football games of all time. San Diego was a very good team and really started the offensive style football we see today.

Game time temp was 88 in that SD-MIA game the week before.....can't imagine going from playing in the heat to playing in the sub-zero tundra we had in Cincy the following week! LOL

Lots of great memories of those old time Bengals ~~ Kenny Anderson, Pete Johnson, Anthony Munoz, Cris Collinsworth i.e. etc!!
Yes, prayerfully / hopefully the 2021 Bengals and going forward have a lot more great momentum!!
I still remember when for a while Shell gas stations in the Tri-state gave away complimentary sketch prints of those old time Bengals as part of a fill-up.

I am kind of excited for Cincinnati too! UC for college as well. Will always back my Maize and Blue though. Just how it is. We destroyed Wisc today in Madison. Last time was 2001. We were due.

Lions go to 0-4 now... I guess they are going for a new record. The first 0-17 team. They have the record for 0-16 already from a few years ago.

Going into Week 5, we have one undefeated team left, AZ. We have two winless teams still, the Jags and of course, you guessed it. My Lions!
My Picks: Matthew Stafford's New Home, The lowly Falcons, My Lions had better win dammit!, Cheeseheads, Eric's Panthers, My Raiders, Josh Allen and company, and those mean ole Ravens!

Wow, Chase is the real deal. Burrow made some bad decisions. Too conservative with the play calling before the 58 yard miss in regulation.

No surprise that My Lions lost. They and the Jags are the only winless teams still left. AZ is currently the only undefeated team and currently are winning 10-0 with the 4th Q getting ready to start. It doesn't look like My Raiders are going to win either losing 14-3 in the 4th.
Speaking of the Bengals... Joe B. was taken to the hospital with a throat contusion after the game. That's all I have heard so far.

I've heard of contusions but never a throat one before. Prayers and thoughts with Joe that its not a serious long term injury.

Baltimore roared back to beat the Colts in OT! The bigger story as Bgoney said was Jon Gruden has resigned from the head coaching job for My Raiders. Wow is right...

Lol, Hmmm, how will NFL and rest of MSM do-gooders deal with the chosen ones of upcoming Super Bowl half-time entertainment that make Gruden look like a juvenile delinquent . This ought to be good.
