From Tigers GM Al Avila on Tigers Spring Training and what to expect this season including former Redleg Tucker Barnhart, which we welcome to Detroit with open arms. Love this guy! A class act!

So I hear the Reds still have tickets available for their home opener.....simply unheard of, and just shows how the fan base is being turned off by terrible ownership. Castellani even said himself he was "dumbfounded" by this! Really?? Inflation is already hitting many families hard, ya think they are going to spend their hard earned money to see a AAA team play?

The Pandemic has shown us that we don't need Sports Stars. They are there for our entertainment only. Too bad everybody doesn't realize this, esp people in high places lol

We are getting killed 9-1 BOT 8 so we'll lose this series. Not the way I wanted to start 2022. :( Boston comes to Detroit with that team having several former Tigers on their roaster. First pitch for the 3 game set is 5:10pm with Matt Manning getting the call.

EDIT: Christ.... 10-1 was the final. Meanwhile for the Redlegs, Greene looked good in a 6-3 series win for Cincinnati over the Braves to kick off the 2022 campaign.

So very sorry, bro, about your Tigers opening series. :(

As you mentioned also that rookie Hunter Greene had a good debut. :) Cincy split 2-2 with Atlanta.

A day off Mon and then a home opener 2 game series vs the Indians ("Guardians" sound like some kind of police show series!).

Tyler Mahle gets the start vs Shane Bieber at 4:10 Tues.

Not sure if I was watching the Reds or The Bad News Bears yesterday. So many mistakes and sort of looked like some of my little league teams I played on.

Hi Tim,

I believe we'd have a much better team if Bob Castellini quit having firesales, offer more money to current players, expand the market and that way attract top ace players instead of often starting from scratch via the minor league farm system. :thumbupright:

What a crappy home opener series as the guys got swept in 2 by the "Indians" 7-3! :x

Thanx for nothing, Bobby Boy!

Currently now at the bottom of the heap at 2-4. That was sure fast!

Next is a 7 games West road trip starting with 4 @ the Dodgers.

Reiver Sanmartin squares away vs Walker "Ferris" Buehler at 10:10 Thurs.
