Jebi is now a TD and it won't really be bothering anyone doing the ole recurve NE of Japan. TS Krathon is about ready to be a typhoon. On satellite it probably already is. You can see an eye now. This one now looks to impact Taiwan in the coming days as it turns more to the NNE. It may get the Koreas or Japan in the longer term. Not sure yet that far out.

We also have 97W which has a low chance of development.

TS Trami looks to impact SE Asia, like Vietnam / Cambodia area over thew weekend into early next week.

We now have TD Kong-Rey which has formed NW of Guam moving to the NW and eventually turning more North and missing the Philippines. It may also become a typhoon as well. Too early to know if China or Japan will be threatened or not by this one.

Finally, 98W has a medium chance to develop.

No changes to TS Trami as it continues to track towards SE Asia. Kong-Rey is now a TS and is expected to become a typhoon and track in between Taiwan and Japan as it begins to turn more to the NW. Some of those smaller islands in the southern part of the island chain will be impacted by this system.

TS Trami is now impacting Vietnam. Kong-Rey is still expected to become a typhoon. The center should miss Taiwan as it turns more to the north but it'll be close.

Trami is now a TD so we can take this one off the board as it weakens over Vietnam. Kong-Rey is just about ready to become a typhoon. The track has now changed. Taiwan looks to get hit now by this system. Then the center gets close to the Chinese coast weakens to a TS then turns NE and potentially heads towards Japan. This one is going to be on the board for a while.

Typhoon Kong-Rey has a well defined eye on satellite and is a very strong typhoon. IT will nail Taiwan then brush the Chinese coast. It will then turn NE and potentially brush the S areas of Japan.

Wave 90W is also on the board with a low chance of development.
