92 / 72 at CVG with a heat index of 100 the last 2 hours. Heat Advisory for tomorrow. I think a 93-95 high is possible at the Airport. Heat index up to 105 possible in my honest opinion. Should get maximum ridging and highest 850s ahead of the front and with Fred heading towards FL this weekend.

Same drill for today , 20-30% isolated pop-up clusters somewhere in the region. Timing of the front tomorrow atm couldn't be worse , with models bring in yet another dying complex in the morning and firing storms further east later afternoon. Its still our best chance for rain though , and anything can happen, but models have been showing the dreaded "gap" for parts of the region, so good luck as another extended dry period for the weekend and next week is in the cards

Good Morning Les and I agree with you on the forecast. I have an afternoon tee-time and today will be water on the course instead of beer though one or two beers after may be just fine. Nothing beats a cold beer on a hot day.

Overnight Euro run, FWIW, has two rounds for CVG. Fri morning then again late. Not much next week until Wed night / Thurs per this run.

SDF tied a record warm min low this morning with a low of 81 degrees. That ties the record from 2010. CVG's was 78 from 1887 so we're safe.

Barring any debris cloud blow off, convective temp today at ILN is at 90 degrees so temps should rise pretty quickly with 90 at CVG most likely coming by lunchtime or so.

85 at CVG as of 10:52 - so yeah 90 likely by lunchtime or a bit afterwards. It's brutal out there!

92 yesterday and we're running at least 1 degree hotter then yesterday at this time. 93 easy at CVG today. Still thinking 95 as where we end up.
