Gorgeous here on Cass Lake. Low 40s here this morning and I loved it. Had some fog to which quickly burned off.

Les picked a great week to leave the weather behind, because there isn't a whole lot of weather going on the rest of the week and beyond. Whoever got some rain yesterday and today you'll be glad , cause the next 10 days or more look pretty dry, probably the region's dryest stretch of the summer.

If this is correct, I won't be mad.

Hmmm, wonder where high pressure will dominate the next 7-10 days or so . One of the best Monsoonal rain seasons for the west and rockies rolls on , another week or so and some of that moisture will be snow for the rockies, so good news for them continues. Sleepy Atlantic continues also , so good news for all the coastline.

Good Morning and a nice day ahead. Tonight should be the coolest night and my guess some outlying areas will get into the upper 40's while CVG will probably end up in that 53-55 range. Dry and warm for the extended period and this may be a 10-14 days streak as well. My wife is headed to Crested Butte,Co next week and would not be surprised if they get some snow but its common out there and with elevation over 9000 ft it makes sense. Again very little rain once again in my neighborhood and with the dryness over the past 6 weeks the trees look bad and tons of dead leaves have fallen already.

I did manage to encounter a passing shower yesterday evening but it was mainly a ground wetter in my hood. 58 was my low this morning.

Stretch of beautiful September weather for AVland rolling along , with no changes going forward from yesterdays forecast. The big weather news in the coming days will showcase Alaska with active weather. Former typhoon Merbok(who comes up with these names?) , will move through just west of Aleutians and through the heart of the Bering Sea. This will bring high winds and rain to the west coast of Alaska and snow for the interior. Then next week multiple low pressures smack the southern Alaska coast probably bring an AR event and flooding rains along the southern coast. It's that time of year when the east Asian jet starts to crank up and extend further east into the Pac , so storms are starting to increase in the north pac

Good Morning and another beautiful day but several degrees warmer. Weather is rather boring for the next week or two and the only thing to watch is the tropics to see if anything starts to brew and do we happen to get a day or two that gets near 90. That's all I got this go around.
