Cell just south of Columbus IN is SVR warned until 2:30

60 degree dewpoints spreading north of I-70 now. My dew up to 66.

Surface Low is crossing the Wabash River now from ILL into IN.

81 / 70 as of 2pm at CVG.

The Super Cell Comp index now at an 8 over SW IN.

I agree Mike and the storms that are by themselves have the better shot of becoming severe.

I went from 82 to 76 so that downpour did little to stabilize things here.

2000-2500 now for NKY, 3000 just to the south. For you all N of the river... values range from 0-2000 from N to S. North of I-70 not much, S of there the CAPE picks up fairly quickly.

Low level lapse rates are steep, this is concerning for severe wx potential.


DCAPE: Any value near or over 1000 would be a concern for damaging winds.

Woolyworm has the watch flag out. Grandma Wooly is getting rather cranky. . Too much water for the beans.

How bad are your winds? I just got home, already raining so too late to take down canopy on my patio. Hope it survives.
