Good to hear Mike, very little rain here which if you go by the odds I was due for very little in the way of rain with this kind of system.

Looks like my total was 0.31" so not bad. Hoping you folks down in CVG land can catch some of that rain coming out of southern Indiana cause after today it's going to be another loooong dry spell!

No doubt some folks got a nice hit from this front as the amount of moisture drawn up from the tropics was more than I thought. Glad to see some folks getting needed rain and barely any in my neighborhood which is fine because the lawn is growing like crazy and still mowing twice a week. Hopefully that will come to an end soon but at least the lawn is healthy.

Good morning and hope you are having fun Les. The mjo has been stuck in phase 3 and this keeps us warm and muggy for the near future. The typhoon is heading into Japan so it has re-curved. What you will see in the models one day is a complete shift from above average to near or below average. Models take time to pick these features up but once they do sometimes they go to far the other way. Fall is coming and arriving about right on schedule and can't wait to see those lows in the upper 40's and low 50's and could be a foggy period as well which is nothing new to late September

A sign of things to come back home in another 6 weeks. I'd say fall colors will peak up here in the next week.

Congrats and very nice-looking bluegill, Bro! 8-)

I have fond memories as a kid having fished with my Dad at Hueston Woods, Winton Woods, and Brookville Lake i.e. 8-) We caught mainly bluegill and catfish. :)
