I'm just happy to finally see our guys make some strides anyway and makes for an interesting contest between Cincy and Milwaukee day to day! We'll play the Brew Crew either side of the All Star break! And with how our world and country is anymore its nice to see that there's still some part of Americana that for the most part hasn't changed. I'm also glad to see some of my cousins' rival Cards e.g. get a taste of how our Redlegs have been going through in recent seasons!

Exception being the LA Dawgers and their Nuns of Perpetual Nonsense!

Before that, Justin Verlander had a pair and then you'd need to go all the way back to 1984, when Jack Morris pulled it off. The Tigers had never before had a combined no-hitter.

In MLB history, there have now been 320 no-hitters. Before Saturday, the only one so far in 2023 came from Yankees starter Domingo Germán in Oakland on June 28. The most recent combined no-no came in Game 4 of the World Series by the Astros in a game started by Cristian Javier.

Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame to add 3 in Class of 2023 this weekend.

Bronson Arroyo, Danny Graves and the late Gabe Paul are the three members of the Class of 2023 who will be joining the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame this weekend. Pregame on-field ceremonies Saturday are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. to officially induct starting pitcher Bronson Arroyo, reliever and all-time saves leader Danny Graves and the late Gabe Paul, general manager from 1951-1960.
