Good Afternoon and a nice cold January day and even some flurries early today when I was out and about. Euro all the way and that model has been the same since probably Tuesday with this system. Nothing to change for the ongoing forecast and I gave out my totals for the area yesterday and will give one final total at CVG since that is the one we usually call home base. Before all is said and done Monday CVG will end up with 2.9 inches.

If we get almost 3" here, I'll buy you a tall frosty cold one Tim! I'd be so thrilled!

Yeah man I’m going to roll with it as well. No need for adjustments. I’m going to be an ass though and go with 2.8”. Price is Right rules apply :lmao:

Les that would be wonderful and lets make a little bet just for fun. I buy you one if we don't get to 2.9 inches and you buy me one over 2.9 inches. I do believe the Euro may be correct for early Saturday as the system in the midwest today has been a little further east than forecast and that could clip us early in the morning and then we have the clipper behind the main storm Monday and with temps colder I could see some added snow to the totals before all is said and done.

There are really three pieces to this entire event that I am sure most folks are well aware of. The front end to give the snow shower chances tomorrow morning. Then Sunday afternoon and evening with the main system, followed by snow showers Monday with the trailing wave.

15Z SREF plume has 0-8" for CVG. Mean is almost 3". DAY is 2" for the mean. The mean at ILN is almost 4" and almost 5" at CMH :o

I saw that Les and folks in Louisville and Lexington really did not shoot up much with the recent run but CVG,DAY,ILN and CMH have a nice increase. Of course some big totals with some of the models but a good range in that 2-5 inch area so who knows. Can we get NAM'ed and will find out shortly.
