Hey neighbor! I’m in Norwood too. Can’t believe I am still hearing/seeing pings of sleet in our hood…this is crazy!

Well, my 3 year old pup is miffed. Covered her best smells and a pain to walk on. Not a happy camper, but I have to admit, I want snow.

Snow in Liberty Township
Light snow in Fairfield too. just a dusting on top of about 4 inches of sleet. Has to be a record. The great sleet storm of 2022.
It is very rare we get a good snow after a period of sleet and freezing rain. Only one that stands out in my mind is the Christmas 2004 storm where we got some light snow then hours of sleet and ended up with about 9 inches of snow. I remember being bummed out though because friends in Preble county stayed all snow and got 20+ inches. I also remember that storm dumped 20+ inches over several hundred miles and several states.
There will be more opportunities... hopefully soon

Rumpke has understandably cancelled pickup for Miami Valley Fri customers. They said they'll attempt service on Sat the 5th depending mainly on road conditions.

Channel 5’s radar has that backfill of a snow to our west. Is that really gonna be a thing?

Light snow most of the night. Could see some additional accumulation. That’s what Gummer said on 12.

Rise and shine, light gritty steady snow here. Some nice streamers still to come off to our SW. Whovever gets those , another inch or so added to whatever cake layer accumulations you have now.

Quite the chore trying to open the truck door. And those venturing out just a reminder , don't try to power the windows down, , the end result could be ugly

Winter Weather Advisory until 10am. All warnings dropped. 1-2" of additional snow today for some folks then we'll wrap this one up this afternoon! It should be a snow globe morning once it gets light out.
Street hasn't been touched since yesterday morning.
