He’s genuine. Nothing phony about the guy, rooting hard for the lions !!!! Isn’t it amazing how their defense has been decimated with injury and yet they find ways to win. Why can’t the Bengals find someone like this?
I saw in a headline somewhere where Bill Belichick is going to interview for a coach position at some college. Hopefully Mike Brown fires Zac Taylor at the end of this season and then brings in someone like Jon Gruden e.g. for 2025 onward. Along with some first round draft picks!

They have a "Next man up" mentality and culture in Detroit. When someone gets hurt, the next man up has to step in and perform to that same level of excellence as the guy before them. Or you don't play. Pretty simple.

Over the past few weeks I mentioned 3 teams that I thought could make it to the super bowl and left off KC because I thought they might end up playing Buffalo on their home field. KC keeps finding ways to win and when you have that coach and QB never say never. I have four teams on that list and is a fifth or even sixth team going to make that list and we will see.

Yes we're not in contention BUT still nice to see a win when one is mustered! ;)

University of North Carolina Tarheels has offered Bill Belichick their head coach position. In negotiations, Belichik said that he wanted to run this college team like an NFL program. Bold. Will UNC agree? North Carolina and Belichik are waiting for official decisions. Belichik is 72, probably too old for the NFL.

30 million dollars is what I saw for his salary over 3 years. The Bengals may have paid him 10 million at the most for 3 years. I wonder why he would go to NC.

We played like crap, esp early on. Tried to find a way to win but fell short.

Lions defense continues its bad luck with gruesome defensive injuries. Really starting to catch up with them on that side of the ball. Bengals win but obvious why there record is what it is . Penalties galore and Joe is running for his life or getting knocked down on every pass

I sure wish that the injury bug would leave us alone.

Are they going to be getting some of the injured back for the playoffs? I hope so

Good Morning guys and Les I have been talking about the injuries for several weeks and after awhile when you play another really good team its hard when so many players on defense are hurt. I give them credit for hanging in there and when the coach went with an onside kick with over 12 minutes to play you knew he thought his defense could not make a stop. Before last week I had 3 teams for the Super Bowl and then added KC just because they know how to win though Mahomes may be out with his ankle. Is there another team that its getting its act together and can go on a run and you must look at the Rams. Super bowl winning coach and they beat the Bills last week so I made need to add them to the list. I forget what year it was but the NY Giants went on a second half season run and won the Super Bowl. Health is so important in the NFL and that is my biggest concern about the Lions who I am rooting for this season. How about that Bengals game with a total of 26 penalties and 10 turnovers between the 2 teams. Not sure the game is over yet

I would assume so but even the back up's and third stringers keep going down. That's the sad part.

Les your Lions are what we can say snake bitten. 3 players may be out for the season after yesterdays game which include all starters with defensive tackle McNeill, cornerback Davis and the latest Running Back Montgomery. Was mainly defensive players but starting to hit the offense. Wow and that is a lot of weapons lost

I know! But if they are going to be Champions, then they are going to have to find a way to win. I expect a big bounce back game versus Da Bears in Chicago this coming Sunday.

UGH....

Dan Campbell confirmed Lions RB David Montgomery, DL Alim McNeill, and CB Khalil Dorsey are all out for the season. He isn’t sure if CB Carlton Davis will return this season.

Les not good news. I finally added a fifth team because of the injuries to the Lions and that is the Rams. They made a big surge last year to make the playoffs and this year they had tons of injuries early on but are healthy plus one of the best coaches in the league. So I have 3 teams in the NFC that I believe can make the Super Bowl and 2 teams from the AFC though need to see how bad the injury is to Mahomes.

It is sickening for Lions fans that is for sure. We have not lost two games in a row going back to last season so hopefully this Sunday we can pull out a win at Chicago. Should be able to do so IMO as the Bears aren't great.
