Mainly pingers here in Mason. At least we are in the middle 30s. I hate sleet. I have PTSD from all of the sleet storms the last few winters!

Oh wow... that's interesting. The low is down to 990 MB now NE of St. Louis over in ILL. The warm front seems to be having a tough time moving north. I suppose the storm could be occluding already which could be the reason why.

This system is really doing some unexpected and funky things. There are two lows of 988 MB over Central ILL and just to the SW of Evansville, IN. There is a third low trying to form at 992 MB near Hopkinsville, KY too per SPC Meso page.

Just was outside cleaning some leaves out of the gutter on the curb to keep the water flowing. It's rather chilly with that rain falling. I have lazy neighbors down the street that don't clean up their yards. So when the wind blows I get their leaves in the yard and gutter. :( :(

Below freezing air is not too far away. St Louis is dropping into the 20s now and it is only a matter of time before the cold air gets to us.

I did some clearing off of our driveway and front winding walkway of slush so that it wouldn't flash freeze later tonight and in the morning. Hopefully the wind will help in getting the wet pavement and concrete dried up. :thumbupleft:

Currently 41 here in G'ville with a S wind of 15 mph and gust to 21 mph.
