Probably closing in on 8 tenths now so the models shifting the heaviest north of Cincinnati was correct when we saw that occur a couple of days ago.

Good Morning. Rain totals are interesting as the first boundary on Sunday produce heavy rains in central Kentucky. The overnight rains produced heavy rains in central and southern Indiana into west central Ohio. This morning heavy rains near the river in Northern Kentucky and southern Ohio. So each model did well at times so grading the models I give then all a B. Next system should have rains mainly south of here but late Tuesday and early Wednesday we are close enough to get some rain in the southern areas. Then we wait to see how the late week system pans out.

I think we'll spike towards 60 on Friday with rain. Then we'll see if we can get a favorable low track / strength for some snow Fri night and Sat. Current models are showing an inch or two possible across the area so something to keep an eye on for sure going forward this week.

I think the models are at least starting to converge on the set up now for Fri and Sat. I am going to make a thread for this system as it might be Winter's Last Stand.

Back to our regularly scheduled heavy rain event that is currently in progress. Elongated low working thru the Tri-state this morning so once it passes, the rain continues but temps drop. Severe threat should be about done for most.

Heading towards 80 down here in Greenville plus this morning you can sort of see the tropical air that you see during the spring and summer.

I agree as you get into March models tend to keep precip from getting further north than what you see in March. Would not be surprised to see some light rain in the local tri-state area. Should not last long a few hours of light rain possible.

Amounts will be light if it occurs but a few hundredths are possible. Might even get some flakes if we have enough cold air to work with at night.
