What a crazy and wild finish to Sun's game as centerfielder / 2nd baseman Nick Senzel beat a tag at 1st base in the 9th that was at first challenged, but thankfully he was safe. Then shortly thereafter 2nd baseman / 3rd baseman / outfielder Brandon Drury was at bat and Senzel decided to attempt to steal 2nd but then got tagged back at 1st for the final out!! ~~Sigh~~ ~~**SMH**~~

Next is a 4 game series vs the Diamondbacks to round out the home stand.

To add insult to injury, catcher Tyler Stephenson can't seem to catch a break in the IL dept this season. A ball ricocheted off his thumb at home plate Thurs afternoon and he'll be out 4 to 6 weeks with a thumb fracture. In April he was on concussion watch for a while after a Padre player barreled into him at home plate.
