Still all sleet in our area of NKY. All sleet and a ton of it!
A good chunk of cvgland are going to meet the minimum forecast numbers just in sleet totals.

No sir. Was outside walking on top of 3-4" of sleet on my driveway which is on an incline to the street for garbage pick up tomorrow. Was a challenge. I'm still pinging 25 / 22

Heavier returns are starting to form down to the southwest. We should be able to hold onto light to moderate snow for several more hours.

i think the snow may win out this time. we’ve been a mix to sleet to mix to sleet. now a mix again and the flakes seem to be taking over. we’ll see!

Hopefully your cart doesn't end up on its side, bro.

Mine has been since this morning.

Saw this at the Darke Co Rumpke website ...

Friday:

Collection service may possibly be delayed in the morning. If drivers are unable to complete routes, routes would be completed on Saturday.

Anything that is not able to be completed on Thursday or Friday, the plan is to have all trucks out Saturday to complete Municipal customers.

***It is strongly encouraged for all residents to have their trash and/or recycling out the night before. Missed stops the next two days may not be able to be completed until next week.

***Plans are weather permitting along with monitoring any possible level 2/3 emergencies established in any counties we service.

No problems here with that. The carts are full of stuff very heavy. No problem. The guy comes and has a robotic arm on the truck, lifts the can up, dumps it, sets it back down with the lid closed and you're good to go. I'll go out and get it around my mid morning break tomorrow.

Great to hear :)

Mine is full but not all the way to the top. Fortunately the lid didn't fly open upon impact.

We had a robotic arm one when my folks and I lived in Raleigh. :)

I’d say we have had at least 2” snow on top of the sleet fest since the changeover

Snowing at a good clip IMBY around 2 inches of sleet with no less than 3 inches of snow on top of that. Since the changeover I would say that I am getting near an inch an hour now.

Changed over to all snow in Fairfield at 5:00 after mixing for an hour. Went out to shovel the sleet one more time and while I was out there got a quick coating over shoveled area. As I was finishing up, we went back to heavy sleet.

My mom is in Liberty Township (747 and Tylersville) and said they are getting some sleet now but had about 1.5 inches of snow from 3:30-5:00.

So close… the mesoscale discussion sounds like the warm nose going to stick around a few hours. Hopefully we can get another quick 30 miles like earlier this afternoon.
