Kitchen Sink Storm Feb 2-4, 2022
Re: Kitchen Sink Storm Feb 2-4, 2022
Just went out to shovel, come to find out there's still freezing rain mixing in with the snow. I thought it was all sleet until I went out in it.

Sleetfest 2022 continues in Madeira. Looking at the camera in Ripley, it still looks to be mostly rain with a temperature right around 32.

Ha. All good, sir. Glad it's snowing for ya finally!snowbo wrote: ↑Thu Feb 03, 2022 2:06 pmI know, I feel bad. It's like I don't know how to look out the window and identify what's falling! For what it's worth, I would call it moderate snow now - of course that's subject to change.rhodesman88 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 03, 2022 2:02 pmYour posts are like texts in a toxic relationship! Still sleeting, you can hear it if you get close to a window, so it's not very heavy. 30 degrees. Gives the impression of what maybe 1/2" of snow would look like.
How much more moisture can we expect for how long? I'm concerned that by the time it finally gets cold enough, the good juicy moisture will be gone.

Sticking to my 330-400 changeover prediction here in Miamisburg so you shouldn’t be too far behind IMOwrmwxfreak wrote: ↑Thu Feb 03, 2022 3:06 pm I am in Middletown. Still lots of sleet here. An heat it against windows. Almost like a heavy rain…

Shoveling sleet is about as bad as shoveling Beach sand. Just got enough cleared to get the Ram out.

I'm sure glad that I don't have to go anywhere for a few days. I am not looking forward to shoveling the mountain of pingers! I might let it go and worry about it this weekend LOL! Hell with it...
