Thanks for the update. It's amazing that you have barely had snow and Troy, just a few miles to your north has had 6 inches.

I know, I feel bad. It's like I don't know how to look out the window and identify what's falling! For what it's worth, I would call it moderate snow now - of course that's subject to change.

Starting to get some light snow mixed back in with the heavy sleet fall. Hope that's a sign!!

Man it sure looks as if the sleet snow line is slowly starting to move east and south now. Maybe it’s just my eyes. Still sleet fest here and 25.

So that radar depiction is fairly accurate ? Just trying to get a feel for these radars

I'd say accurate to within 5 miles. I'm just south (5 miles) of the snow line.

You should be solidly in the snow now per the ILN radar. Your sleet should be over and snow here on out for you. My hood should flip here in the next hour or two unless the line stalls again. Lol

The line is approaching your area as well so will likely flip to all snow there soon.

Don't have a visibility, but I'd say it's heavy snow now. Nice sized dendrites.

Driveway done, 2x and I’m not going to bother anymore! Lol
Will go clear some paths on the patio for the pup though. Done 1x, can’t tell but I’ll have less to move!

Heavy sleet continues
Temp been dropping, current is 28.3

Steady sleet finally. I know folks to my north and west have been in the sleet much longer and its been heavier. Still would call it a light to once in awhile moderate sleet coming down.

Agree, finally there is an eastward movement with the snow line, especially for the northern counties

Just walked the dogs. Moderate sleet with a few tiny snow flurries mixing in. Sidewalks that had been cleaned are slushy and slick. Non-cleared were crunchy, but not as slick.
