Lost electricity for about 5 minutes. Temp down to 72 degrees. Trying to figure out the amount of rainfall. Had .50 for the month before this storm hit and of course the weather station shows the new total of .46 for the month. Les I know you have some same weather station but will the info reset later today. Taking a guess is I got between 2-3 inches but wish the weather station had not been knocked out for those 5 minutes. Still looking through the manual to see what needs to be done to get the past couple of hours data.

Lights flickered here but I'm still working. Will post my rainfall total later. My guess is 0.40"+ range from totals around me.

I have mine set to change every 24 hours (where the total resets midnight to midnight). Can also see rainfall for the week, month, and year.

Thanks Les and have total for the month set up. So far the only measurement I can find from the afternoon storm is at one time it showed an average of 3.29 inches of rain per hour. Again I know is was not raining that hard for a complete hour but my guess I still got between 2-3 inches. Could be some debris in the gauge as well and will take a look in the next hour or so.

Checked my manual rain gauge and shows 3 inches and seems about right. I will check with some neighbors later to see what they show. Feels so nice out though the rain is lightly falling and you can hear some thunder in the distance

Back yard looks like a war zone once again. Good thing is clean up duty will be happening over the next few days before I mow this weekend.
