Radar was light up like a Christmas tree but it was all phantom, virga, nothing ever hit the ground

Big bust here north of the river nothing happened, rain or snow but the winds were there

Not a drop of precip here. Busted forecast for sure. EU never bought into the snow for our area . Only light amounts in Central KY as well and a bust for a few forecasters as well.

Good Morning and no doubt a bust for our area. Central Kentucky have seen reports of 3 and 4 inches so not a bust there. I believe many of the forecasts down there was 1-3 but some folks higher in a stronger band and that is exactly what happen. Good thing is only busting 1 inch. I thought in northern Kentucky that we would see an inch but the cold front became the bully after a little break in the afternoon. No surprise though as dense cold air in January usually wins out. On to the next system which is probably early next week and again models will waffle for a few days and hopefully a better sense by this weekend.
