That isn't going to happen lol Those numbers have to be tainted by sleet. I can see 4" here at CVG if everything works out right. 6" for you maybe if things work out right.

I know, but we can dream big! Still think the GFS was on this the whole time.

If CVG changes over to snow in that 1-2pm window then we can overachieve. I think it'll be in that 5-7pm window personally.

Indeed! I figured it was a matter of time. Luckily I still have no ice to this point. But a good 24 hours of precipitation to go.

I just a local pickup truck plow the sleet on the side street next to my house. The pile of sleet is 6 inches deep!
Still holding at 27 with moderate sleet

I saw via a window in my garage door where my curbside trash cart went over on its side at the foot of the driveway but thankfully the lid didn't fly open.
I reckon it probably was from a plow truck that understandably couldn't be helped as the cart is pretty full.

I've been thinking the same thing. Might think about it after work today so it's not so hard to do once the snow comes.

i went out a bit ago. about 1/2 inch of sleet and some slush underneath. laid down some salt after i was done. probably a fruitless effort, but i guess it can’t hurt.

27 and sleet here in Deer Park. With falling temperatures and continued sleet and eventual snow, I really hope people realize just how bad conditions are going to get here in town later. Bad news for travel is already underway, and it’s going to continue to get much, much worse. Please stay home if you’re able to.
This is only the beginning of things going downhill fast.

Back to predominately sleet again.
Ok, back to predominately snow now - and this time I'm being honest with you!
Awesome to hear! Now the storm really begins for your neck of the woods. If you are snow at this point and stay all snow the rest of the storm you will definitely not be disappointed.
30 minutes of snow is all I could muster. Switched back to sleet and now nothing.
