Due to continued blowing snow... winter weather advisory until 1pm today. Watch for slick and snow covered roads still ongoing in some areas. Wind chill advisory as well in effect until 4pm for -15 to -25 wind chills. Expecting winds gusting to 30 today and temps rising to around the 10 to 12 degree range. 0 or so tonight then 15 to 20 tomorrow. Guaranteed White Christmas! :)

When Buffalo gets a southwest wind watch out for heavy snows. This was very common in the late 70's when we had the snowy winters and we ended up with several wonderful snows because of a southwest wind which in this part of the world brought up moisture on top of deep cold air.

The band will come back south again either tonight or tomorrow to add more to those totals. I wonder if the NAM will verify with that 90 some inches it was showing for KBUF :lol: Insane!
