While I was out of town, The Cubbies took 2 out of 3 from the Tigers. We are on a West coast trip in SEA and we took game 1 last night 4-1. Next one is tonight at 10:10 pm. Spencer Turnbull will give it a go.

Spencer Turnbull threw a no hitter as the Tigers beat SEA 5-0! It was the 8th No-No in Tiger History and the 5th of 2021 already for all of MLB. Next game is tonight at 10:10pm as we try and sweep SEA. Tarik Skubal will try and make that happen.

Who would have thought Castillo would be 1-6....in May! Although he pitched much better and only made the one mistake (Dickerson 3-R blast) that ended up costing him the game.

We lost to SEA 6-2. Off day today as we travel to KC for a 3 game set. Frist game is Fri night at 8:10pm as José Ureña gets things started.

Hopefully the Redlegs can right the ship with the Brew Crew coming in - they always seem to do poorly against the left coast teams. Even in their 1990 WS championship year, they did crappy against LA/SD/SF.

The Tigers usually do poorly also with the Left coast teams. Although this year so far, they have swept Seattle.

Tigers also won 7-5! Miggy with career homers 490 and 491 in that game. The 2nd one being a grand slam! :D Next one against KC is this afternoon at 4:10pm. Matthew Boyd will try and keep us winning!

Guys got edged 4-3!

A home plate umpire got beaned on the chin by a pitcher's toss to catcher when the ball ricocheted off the catcher's mitt.

Prayerfully the ump will be okay, as thankfully, he was able to stand up after a while unassisted.

He did leave the game though for precautionary measures for which I don't blame him.
