Well my dad's younger sister let him know this afternoon that a get-together time for he and her to help her get started downsizing has to be ppd yet again. What a stellar day tomorrow as it would have been great for them to round up and take some items to Goodwill or somewhere else. His sis aggravated a hip a period of years ago while bowling with her great niece as part of a birthday celebration for the niece and since then has flared up occasionally. Decided to flare up again late this week, so it is what it is, unfortunately.
DAY's record high for March 5th is 77 set in 1983. ILN has them progged for 74 tomorrow, so 3 degrees short of the record.
Currently 41 here in G'ville and progged for around 37 Sat morning. Then 74 for tomorrow.

48 / 25 here. We will drop a few more degrees tonight but probably will hold in the mid 40s. Strong southerly flow tomorrow will boost us into the 70s with some sunshine as well. Not crystal clear skies there will be some clouds too.

Looks like an aunt (dad's middle sister) and cousin of mine in Baldwin (near Ludington) along with our wxbuddy Shayne in Yale / St Clair are under the High Wind Watch.
Eric, My Aunt in Northern Lower Mich is def under it. My cousin in S Mich is in the row of counties not included by the OH border, but being so close, it really doesn't make any difference.
78 is the record, can we beat it? I say we'll fall short but 75 is doable today. Plenty of sunshine is coming in shortly per visible satellite. A bit breezy but an otherwise awesome day ahead! Hope all can enjoy it.

...ELEVATED FIRE RISK TODAY...
Gusty winds and low humidity this unseasonably warm afternoon
and early evening will create an enhanced fire risk. South to
southwest winds gusting to 20-30 mph could allow fires to become
uncontrolled.
Please refer to your local and state burning laws and
regulations. Use extreme caution when burning, as fires may get
out of hand quickly in these conditions, and consider choosing
another day if possible. Be careful with hot equipment or
cigarettes near dry, grassy areas.
