Very late spring-like setup today with thunderstorms popping/bubbling up all around the tri-state area.

Still holding steady at 61 here in G'ville.

I know the weather has been more exciting today in some areas more then others but for CVG itself, so far anyway, this system has been a real snoozer. Hopefully, Fri and Sat will pan out with beneficial rains. 12Z Euro shows an inch of rain with our next system so I say bring it on!

As of 2pm, CVG is up to 0.09" Weeeee!

Yeah like I mentioned earlier, some areas will get screwed today. CVG is one of those lucky winners!

Butler Co getting slammed again. They will have some of the heaviest totals of the day.

Good Afternoon and a few rounds of rain with thunder here. Trev you were correct about some of the higher totals. Again locally this has been a hit or very little in a small area and my thought was the more widespread rain would be south and east and that is true but the rains in southeast Indiana and southwest Ohio have been impressive. More like a mid-spring system than a late winter/early spring, Good call Trev and though everyone won't see the higher totals I do expect a more widespread system later this week as milder moist air over the retreating cooler air should provide a nice steady rain for many hours.

My folks and I went through a nice big t-storm or cluster of them between Greenville and Laura, OH on the way to West Milton, OH for a late lunch "lupper" at a historical restaurant called Pearson House.

Now at 59 here in G'ville.

Boone Co Mesonet - 0.38"

Both CVG / DAY reached 66 and CMH 69 today.

I’m sitting at .67 for the day.

1.6 in my rain gauge.

0.22" for CVG. Still more to the SW so another band or two still to come tonight. The front won't pass CVG until tomorrow morning.
