We lost another member of The Allman Bros Band the other day as lead guitarist and song writer Dickey Betts passed away back on 4/18. He was 80 years old.

Actress Shelley Duvall died today at the age of 75 from complications due to diabetes. You may remember her as Wendy in "The Shining" as well as Olive Oyl in the movie "Popeye."

On Sat mornings at 10 o'clock on Turner Classic Movies channel (TCM) they have Popeye cartoon shorts.

Former actor Benji Gregory of sit-com "Alf" stardom was found dead at age 46 along with his service dog also dead from heatstroke in Gregory's car in Peoria, Arizona at a Chase Bank parking lot. His sister said that he suffered from bipolar disorder and also depression. He also suffered from insomnia and so probably went to sleep when was able to during odd hours. Gregory was also a Navy veteran.
