CAPE currently at 500-1000 J/KG across the area. Helicity 250-300 over SW Ohio. Best lapse rates over SE counties. Bulk shear around 50 knots for most folks.

Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 215 PM EDT.
* At 130 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Pennville,
moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
* Locations impacted include...
Celina, Coldwater, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Rockford, Wabash,
Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Chattanooga, Tama, Neptune and
Carthagena.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM EDT for west central

Wow! CG Lightning strike sure got close! Getting awfully noisy out there! Knocked my power out for a second. Heavy rain also. Decent storm. Not much wind at all.

71 / 68 at CVG. Rainfall total so far at 0.12" Currently seeing a peak of sun again IMBY while I await the next batch to move in. TOR Watch for the Western 1/2 of the area continues until 5pm. Severe T-storm Watch for the Eastern third of the area until 8pm this evening.

No doubt the sky has darken over the past 15 minutes. No rain but some gusts of wind at times but nothing really that strong.

Yeah looking out the window from the 7th floor of Cincinnati Insurance it was 0 visibility about 20 min ago and lots of water in the rainfall overflow ducts.
