Feel like I am in SC this morning. Nice dose of rain for sure and helping clean up the streets. Hydroplaning is a big issue this morning.

Bgoney, I noticed that as well. It reminds you of a winter storm where the snow/rain line is supposed to be in central Kentucky and before you know it that line is near I-70.

Already over 1.5 inches at CVG so 2 inches is not a problem. Where will the 3 inch plus totals end up is the question. You can tell the water table is high with all the rain gathering puddles and the sewers getting dump with water.

Good morning all! 1.4" at CVG as of 10am. I'm up to 1.69" as of this post and climbing. Flood warnings out for a lot of folks. Most people have received 1-2" of rain with an additional 0.5 to 1" still yet to come.

Everything got a good rinse job though... salt should be off the roads now. Standing water in a lot of yards now since everything was saturated to begin with due to the snow melt. We'll have to monitor creeks, streams for the short term, and the Ohio River next week in the longer term for flooding issues.

My backyard does and the creek at the bottom of the hill is getting flushed out good lol Just hit the 2" mark for total rainfall for the event. Back edge is approaching thank goodness so things will be tapering off for the Metro in the next hour. Later this afternoon of course for folks further to the east.
