As we watch the first little complex that is moving up I-71... the next one is already forming with new cells over Southern IN and just west of the LOU metro area.

Plenty of southwest to northeast action on these showers and thundershowers through much of the evening until the cold front lines up and starts to push everything to the south and east. Could see some nice cloud to ground lightning with these cells but still believe heavy rain is the main threat.

Les the afternoon is turning out to busy. All I had to do was come back home and the action would heat up lol. If Mike misses out today I may need to spend a couple of weeks at his house.

Back up to 80 again here as I await to see what's going to happen with the incoming cell that has me under a warning. In addition, the leading edge of the MCS has now worked its way into SW IN so look out Evansville!

Nice read from the boys for tonight:

.NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 AM TUESDAY MORNING/...
Multiple clusters of showers and storms continue to progress to
the NE through the region, including near the I-71 corridor this
afternoon, before more widespread activity arrives this evening
through at least the first part of the overnight period. These
storms have exhibited some episodic organization, with some
fairly consistent bowing structures along the LL bulk shear
vector. This will continue to promote a translation of strong
winds down to the ground with the stronger cores, even in the
absence of better LL/BL thermodynamic conditions, and especially
in areas that remain rather "untouched" by previous convection.
Any storm structure/complex exhibiting a bowing structure, with
an apex moving approximately SW to NE, will be carefully
watched for enhancements/surges of wind as this would align
itself more perpendicularly to the LL shear vector oriented at
about 230 degrees at 30kts or so. And the LL shear will only
increase in magnitude as we progress deeper into the evening
with the approach of the main LL low center, but that will
hopefully be offset from some LL stabilization efforts (with
slightly more meager LL lapse rates) in the wake of repeated
rounds of convection this afternoon through early evening.

The better forcing and widespread lift arrives this evening into
the overnight, with a H8 LLJ nudging NNE into the southern OH
Vly. This will allow for a blossoming of convection even beyond
sunset with the increase in mass convergence amidst an amply
moist environment as the feature works ENE through the ILN FA
overnight. While the severe threat is likely to become more
limited very late this evening into tonight as the
thermodynamic environment becomes increasingly unfavorable, the
increase in LL wind fields will promote maintenance of
convection well through the night, with on and off rumbles of
thunder possible just about anywhere through tonight.

Activity will taper off from W to E late tonight into the
predawn hours on Tuesday, still lingering in central/south-
central OH for the morning commute. Lows tonight will bottom
out in a muggy fashion in the mid/upper 60s.

That line is getting ready to cross the river into the KY and OH side from IN. I will report my conditions here of course.

I will report as well and more forming to the south and west. This was a somewhat different mcs as it has formed its own little low pressure and that is why it keeps trucking along and moving northeast instead of going southeast and dying out. Interesting and not so common imo.

Good luck gents! :) Looks like it is bowing right into Burlington, so Les you should get some good winds out of this!

A touch of pea sized hail now for good measure. So far, this storm has been below severe criteria IMBY. Still a strong storm for sure.

You have been untouched so far, so I wouldn't see any reason why you should not get something out of it. But the dome is the dome, so there's that.
