Got thunderstorms about to arrive here. Crazy weather. Maybe I should put the rain gauge back out. Maybe that will make is snow. :)

Edit: stayed just to the south of me.

12Z and 18Z GFS had some nice fantasy outcomes. A promising sign? Who knows... Just nice to see something showing up. I am intrigued around 1/3. GFS most interesting, CMC most progressive. Euro in between.

Light rain here this morning with a wet and gloomy day on tap. Mild though in the 50s. More showers tomorrow. A dry Thurs but then more rain comes in NYE late afternoon with a wet NYD on tap. Then we turn colder and see what happens with snow chances down the road. About time to get the January thread started.

Hi JP,

Thank you very much, bro. :thumbupright:

I have a deep cough, but thankfully its not in my lungs. Mom bought an oxygen meter at Walgreen's that you insert your index finger and I tried it for the first time this morning at breakfast. My level was between 95 and 96, so that's great news. :)

Have also had a high fever at times and a reading this morning that was 100.4. My highest over the past few days was a reading of 100.7. Also nasal congestion at times. I have been taking Ibuprofen to help rid of fever. Last night though, instead, I took some Nyquil that has Tylenol in it before I went to bed and it also works well.

Because I have stage 3 kidney disease I will be getting a monoclonal antibody infusion treatment tomorrow (Wed) morning at 8:30 at my local Family Health.

Dad had an infusion treatment last week after he tested positive because he has prostate cancer and had 28 radiation treatments from October to just after Thanksgiving weekend. Thankfully, his quarantine ended last night.

I started feeling the effects more so on Christmas Eve so am quarantined through this coming Fri.

We all take some Emergen-C before bedtime for extra vitamin C and zinc.

Thankfully mom tested negative yesterday and is not asymptomatic. So continue praying for a veil of protection for her. :thumbupright:

Really hoping these upcoming severe events are not nearly the scope as what we saw earlier this month. Regardless of what happens, it has been a December severe weather season to remember! Wonder if this means 2022 will be off the charts, or if mother nature is just releasing all her energy now?

Regionally about .30-.60" fell , so not the soaking models had expected through midweek. Good news for hydro purposes with the possible heavier rains for Friday/Saturday. Plenty of wavering in the axis of heavy rain , 1-3" broad brush until we get a bit closer and narrow it down
