Big games as the Cardinals who I always thought was the big issue for the Reds getting into the playoffs. San Diego is heading into the beef of their schedule with many game against the Dodgers and Giants plus a big portion of that is on the road so expecting them to fade.

A day off Thurs and then a 3 games series vs Les's Tigers on Labor Day weekend to round out the home stand.

I know you all want Cincy. The Tigers can't make the play off's so it doesn't matter if they win or lose. Obviously a different situation for Cincinnati. They 100% have a great chance to get in! But nope, I'll watch a little bit on TV. Going to be outside enjoying the nice weather quite a bit.

I believe the Redlegs will, going forward, has died over all the remainder of this season.

The Tigers have had pen issues for what seems like decades. But right now... the Reds pen is in more trouble then the Tigers to be honest. If anything stops Cincys play off run it's going to be the bull pen. They have got to fix that in the off season or they will end up being like Detroit. You don't want that feeling, trust me. AJ Hinch is improving the culture in Detroit so I do expect better days for the Tigers ahead.

As far as the pitching match up for tonight goes, I have not seen Boyd pitch much this year due to injury. Last season, he did pretty well.
