I didn't even know that a mime school was even a thing!
I heard the students didn’t have anything to say about it.

That is ariot and my skating ability is holding onto the railing and making 3 year olds go around me. My athletic ability on a scale of 1-10 is about -5.

The heart of the deform band is over us now. Very nice rates for a little while longer then it'll slowly wind down as the afternoon progresses.

Yes and those flakes get bigger at the end of a storm as it rings out the remaining moisture. Will do one more shovel around 1-2pm but lucky for me the driveway sits towards the south and getting the sun between 11a-3pm is nice and even on cloudy days it helps.

House of Cards wrote: Mon Jan 06, 2025 7:36 am roughly 8-1/2 to 8-3/4" here so far with maybe 1/4" sleet. Had 3" exactly with round 1, another 3-1/2-3-3/4" with round 2 (wind made it a little harder to measure due to some drifting), and just got a bit under 2" overnight, that was from right after the football game on til 7:15am. Fun storm!
The back end should produce nicely esp for the Tri-state area on south. Expecting 2-4" more today for our area along with windy conditions, blowing and drifting snow. High ratio fluffy snow too.
Hopefully it will put you up to the 12 inch mark for this storm!
Add 2" more as of 10:19am! 10-1/2" for sure now, and still coming down!
Someone may get a foot after all Dave! :)
11-1/2" now, and still snowing!

My estimate which was about 8 1/2 and final total will be between 9-10 inches. Give me a few more storms like that and I am good for the winter

It looks like the 8-12" call is money for the Tri-state based on your reports and what I am seeing online. Love to see it! :)

The low is still barely hanging on at 1004 MB in S WV. Hey Tim... that low track and slow transfer worked out beautifully and the deform band with the upper low swinging thru remaining somewhat intact is delivering!

Les it worked out great and we know around here that is usually not the case. I had 6-10 but I really thought a period of sleet would occur and that never happened and so glad because moving sleet is not fun

There was some sleet mixed in but not enough to give us the shaft! Colder thermals barely held on so 90% of the precip fell as snow. All things considered and what could have happened, we lucked out nicely! I knew it was a good sign when St Louis and LOU were cashing in early yesterday morning.

No doubt Les and yes folks north of here did receive less but that part of the forecast we had some doubts though most got some snow.

Exactly Tim! We said from the start that our I-70 Crew had the lowest confidence. Looks like S of the interstate didn't too bad at all. North of I-70 though amounts dropped off extremely quickly. ILN's extreme N tier maybe an inch or so at best fell.

That little dry slot there from the upper low got you. But the back end is coming in so you'll still get an inch or two out of deal before it wraps up.

In northeast Montgomery county and Southeast Miami county I would say we received at least 6-7 inches. I haven't been and to measure though. Glad to see most in the Cincy areas are double digits and even around a foot!
