How bout dem Lions just absolutely destroying those Jags? :) Best Team in the entire NFL! Ma Holmes lost! My Lions had 7 possessions and scored 7 TD's. They also had a long FG. Defense gave up 2 FG's and only 170 some yards total to Jax. We had team records of 600 some yards of total offense and 38 first downs!

Congrats to Les's Lions yet again! :thumbupleft:

Panthers should have had a win today tied 27-27 and having set up for a field goal instead of the Wigwam! :tappingfoot:

Good Morning and heading into the homestretch of the NFL season. Usually by this time of year we have the contenders for the Super Bowl and that is usually 6-8 teams. This season we are down to 3 imo with 2 in the NFC and those two teams are the Lions and Eagles. The AFC has one team imo and that is Buffalo which finally is a complete team. Kansas City which has been winning despite itself has problems and though they will get the number 1 or 2 seed I believe they will lose in the first or second round, All other teams in both the AFC and NFC have problems on one side of the ball and I am unable to see anyone but these 3 teams advancing to the Super Bowl.

I think that's a good call Tim! I also believe that KC is weak and eventually, that will be exposed. I expect nothing less then a Lions Super Bowl win!

Hopefully the Lions will go all the way Bro! :)

The Bengals getting screwed by the Rams in Super Bowl LVI in 2022 will always haunt me. Hopefully their SB losses "hex" will finally END one of these years!

I wonder how the ratio of Pittsburgh fans to Bengals fans for Sunday will be . Pittsburgh fans travel about as good as anyone and I’m sure a lot of Bengals fans would sell given the situation

This always happens even when the Bengals are in a contending position. When I had season tickets years ago sometimes the Pittsburgh fans outweighed the Bengals fans.

Good Morning and Les what a close game on Thursday. Lucky the Bears coach is terrible on game day. The Lions do have 2 problems and one is they keep losing defensive players to injury and second is when you play the Lions make sure you get Goff out of the pocket. Why they did not use their running backs more near the goal line on Thursday was a shock and I would have both in the backfield at the same time.

The Bengals and even if they win all the remaining games chances of getting into the playoffs is slim at best. Their conference record is the worse of contending teams so any 3 way tie looks terrible plus we need Denver to lose 3 games with one being the Bengals plus if Denver plays Indy another contender so that hurts as well. The 3 teams we are trying to beat include Denver,Indy and Miami. All 3 have better schedules with some of the easy teams remaining. Time to figure out who we are drafting in the first round next year lol

Tim... I can't believe how lucky the Lions got! The Bears had the game won! Their coach got fired yesterday since they don't know how to manage the game clock very well. Should be a good game against the Cheese Heads next Thursday.

I agree Les and every game is so important since you have the Packers and Vikings on the doorstep. 3 of the top 4 teams in the same division in the nfc sounds more like the AFC North from years past. Please tell Ben your OC who does a great job to just run the ball down by the goal line instead of giving the ball to the right tackle early in the game and expecting him to make a throw down field. When you are the best team on any given day then just do what you do best and make the other team try weird plays.

Both a first round and also Brown get RID of Taylor! Bring in Belichick or Gruden e.g.! :thumbupright:

Too bad Taylor wasn't let go at the end of last season.

Ben Johnson is supposedly the #1 candidate for the Bears HC job in the off season. I hope not lol I want him to stay with Detroit.

Sad to say Les but he is gone imo. I don't think it will be with the Bears as he knows that is 3 teams that seem to be better. Again not sure where he goes but Cincinnati needs a head coach badly. His second half call playing is terrible and got it in his head the kicker was terrible and come on some of those misses were not because of him and really a good coach would have us a 7-4 and not 4-7. Yes the defense needs help but a good coach who has this much offense would find a way to counteract that . Bring me Billy Boy and with Burrow at QB I know he could win some of those close games. If he goes somewhere else then Gruden is fine and a fresh start for him and the Bengals. Marvin Lewis was not a great game day coach but he was able to have the defense in good shape plus he new talent. Then Bengals have so few scouts and you wonder why many of their 3-7 round pics are horrible. You need 4 scouts for both the Big Ten and Southeast Conf alone and we know that is not happening.
