Good Afternoon and nothing here as well. Joe I agree some virga today as the moist air came flowing into the area. Still can get some showers and maybe a thundershower this evening but I still believe Wednesday is are best shot and really anytime during the day. Thursday looks wonderful with lower humidity and temps before we start the cycle again on Friday as temps and humidity rise rather quickly before the next best shot of rain on Saturday. We need to start hitting some of these clusters over the next week or two as the pattern will probably change to a more true summer time pattern with just your heat of the day type of thundershowers and those we know are not widespread and especially if the ground is dry even more isolated.

It’s going to be crucial we get the widespread rains in the early and late morning tomorrow that some models are showing. Otherwise I think it’s the hit and miss stuff late day that leave a lot of the area getting missed

Good morning folks! Scattered storms are trying to bubble up from the SW and into our area early this morning. We shall see what happens with that as that will help determine what happens this afternoon and evening. A slight risk for severe wx exists mainly along and SE of I-71 for today and a marginal risk elsewhere from the SPC.

0.03" fell at CVG overnight. As of 7am CVG is reporting light rain with the activity to our SW slowly trying to push in. Most of it based on radar is light in nature with a few embedded moderate pockets. I'll take anything that we can get right now lol

As usual due to poor timing much of the activity is on the decline as the LLJ also begins to weaken per the usual for the morning hours. Hopefully, we can get rid of the clouds to build up some CAPE for this afternoon. We should have some outflow boundaries around to help trigger some activity but wind shear is very light so unless we get some CAPE, I wouldn't be expecting too much.

Latest CAM's aren't every impressive keeping much of the action scattered around our area with the highest concentration south of ILN's CWA. I guess we shouldn't be surprised. Par for the course at The Dome!

Beat me to it Les, definitely not the regionally widespread soaking some models were showing yesterday(for this morning). The usual haves and have- nots on soaking rains locally . Good luck to all

Yes Sir.... it stinks! But if we fail today, we'll try again over the weekend. When I am on vacation next week, we should have additional chances as well. Just hoping for a couple of rounds prior to my fireworks party to help dampen things down. That is my main concern atm.

Saturday looks okay to decent IMO in terms of rainfall. I went with 60% PoPs in my forecast and a 1/5 severe risk. Looks like another opportunity for an MCS or two. Hopefully this time we can score!
