What a 9th inning it was! Reds down 2-0 and to their last out....then scored 4 to take lead only to lose it in a 4-run bottom of 9th for Padres.

Tigers got killed on Fri 11-3. On Sat, we got killed again 8-3. We are trying to avoid a sweep today. Tigers are currently winning 3-1 in the Top of the 5th inning.

Cincy got SWEPT in 4 by San Diego as they got edged 3-2!! Like Mike said a few days ago, unfortunately the Reds have a history of often losing to California teams.

Next is an inter league series as the guys play 2 games vs the Twinkies to round out the road trip.

Hopefully can GET BACK ON TRACK as Tyler Mahle (7-2) takes on J.A. Happ (3-3) at 8:10 Mon.

Tigers finally win a game in 10 innings 5-3. We took 1 of 4 from LA. Terrible isn't it? Off day tomorrow as we travel home to Detroit and on Tuesday some interleague play as the St. Louis Cardinals come to Detroit. A quick 2 game series coming up with the first game on Tues night at 7:10pm. Tarik Skubal gets the start.

The guys lost 7-5 in 12 innings! Not one of Mahle's best games for sure as usually he's top notch!

Cincy is currently tied with St Louis 36 / 36 at .500!

Friday's game was PPD due to rain in Detroit. A DH is scheduled now for today. Game 1 is at 1:10pm with Casey Mize pitching with Game 2 due to begin at 6:10pm with Wily Peralta getting the nod.

Tigers in the series and took 3 of 4 from Houston today. Score was 2-1 and the Tigers won it in 10 innings with a walk off squeeze bunt. :D Next up is a series with the Indians in CLE. Matt Manning will get things started Monday night at 7:10pm.

Cincy split the series with Atlanta at 2 apiece as they got blanked 4-0!

Next on the slate is a make up game vs the Phillies.

Nicholas Castellanos had 7 RBIs including a grand slam and the Reds crushed the Phillies in their one game series 12-4 erupting for 10 runs in the 7th and 8th innings. Redlegs are back over .500 at 39-38. He is batting .347 with 15hr/50rbi and OPS of 1.002!

I was so pissed when the Tigers traded him to the Cubbies and then the Reds picked him up. I knew he would develop into a good player.
