Southern part of the county and not that far from New Paris (Preble Co). Winterstorm Joe and his family are camping at Natural Springs Resort in New Paris today through Sun.

With a more un expected southern extent to this mornings convection, this should lead to left over boundaries for later activity with also a more southerly extent than the models have indicated .

So once we get these storms through - things still look on track to destabilize quite a bit this afternoon. Already seeing 2500-3000 J/kg CAPE pushing into western Indiana now. Where this boundary sets up shop will mean a major flash flood risk for later tonight in addition to the severe threat this afternoon/evening. Hi Res still printing out crazy totals.

Small hail here in Oakbrook. Not a lot, but size is a little larger than pea size. A few golf ball size.

Great Post and with the heat and humidity just to our west it is just adding fuel to the fire.
