90W has quickly intensified into TS Hinnamnor with a potential hit on S Japan if this is correct.

Typhoon Hinnamnor is going to be a Super Typhoon eventually here. Currently it is 125 KT, GUSTS 150 KT forecast to peak at 135 KT with gusts to 165 KT!!! Japan may need to watch this one in the coming days / week. Remember it is slowing down.

In addition to Super Typhoon Hinnamnor (GFS has a wild solution of it nailing S Korea as a Cat 5), to its south, we now have TD 13W as well to keep an eye on.

Hinnamnor with the stall should weaken significantly in the coming day or two with upwelling and some unfavorable shear , that process is evident on satellite shots

In addition, I also believe that TD 13W with it being so close to the Super Typhoon, it's also causing a disruption in its circulation as well. Glad the GFS was off its rocker on that one run.

It looks like Typhoon Hinnamnor has absorbed what was once TD 13W which caused the storm to slow down and weaken. It is expected to strengthen a little bit again in time and eventually start moving N and eventually NE with the center passing in between Korea and Japan which would be great news for those countries if the JWTC is correct.

Typhoon Hinnamnor continues to weaken having brushed South Korea and will continue to brush the SE Asian coast on it's way out to the NE. Other waves on the board are 91W (high chance of development) and 92 W (low chance of development).

We now have TD 14W which will get a name eventually here and also become our next typhoon. Official JTWC Track has it moving NW and moving in between Taiwan and the S most Japanese islands. Mainland China perhaps S of Shanghai would potentially be impacted down the road if the track were to not change.

We now have TS Muifa with winds of 40 knots moving WNW at 11 knots. This one is still expected to pass in between Taiwan and Japan and potentially even stay off the mainland China coast. We shall see on that one.

Typhoon Nanmadol has now weakened to a TS. This one is expected to turn NE and move right over Japan and whatever is left will ride the jet NE into Alaska or BC at some point.

TS Nanmadol is continuing its move over Japan bringing heavy rains and wind. We now have 94W on the board with a low chance of development.

No doubt the pacific has ramped up quite nicely. Been a few quiet years over there but with so much warm water especially in the north pacific compared to normal these storms can stay stronger longer. Had 3 storms over the past few weeks and one hit Korea, one hit southeast China and of course one hits Japan. I know there have been warnings over in Japan about how much rainfall this storm is producing. This can be said also with the storm that just past Puerto Rico and yes the winds were strong but the amount of rainfall was so impressive and as we know its floods that kill more folks than the strong winds.

Luckily for Japan, this one is moving faster then Fiona did over Puerto Rico so it's helping in that regard somewhat.

In addition to TD 17W, we also have TD 18W to keep an eye on as well. 17W is expected to become a TS then brush Japan and weaken heading off to the NE. 18W is expected to become a TS, move due west and hit the N Philippine Is, then hit the Laos, Vietnam areas as a minimal typhoon.
