A whopping 0.15 for the day so far. What a wild pattern we are in with Les building an Ark and I am starting to see more brown grass. Maybe 10-12 miles apart is my guess. I was at a party today and folks who live in Edgewood near Dixie Hwy told me they had a nice downpour around 330pm or so and they have got into some of rains Les has seen recently. I live in that southern Edgewood/northern Independence area that has really gotten the short shaft in recent months. I knew for several years I was getting hit hard all the time so things do even out and maybe I will make up for it during the Dec-Feb months.

Good morning Tim (and everyone else too LOL) and it's like Mark said yesterday. Some years we never get anything and this year, 80-90% of the cells have slammed our hoods over here. It's been crazy other then that dry stretch we all endured earlier in the summer. Outside of that, May was soaks-ville, July was okay and August has been soaks-ville again. Like you said, amazing since you're just in the next county over from me. Not like you're way north up by Eric or out East like Bgoney lol You, Mike, Dce, Bo etc. have been getting the shaft more often then not this summer. Hope to see today as your all's day!

Currently this morning a weakening area of showers over the area with some cloud cover. Plenty of breaks too off to the west over Central IN so we should see some heating today. Probably not as good as yesterday but U70s to L80s ought to do it for most. More action should pop this afternoon once we destabilize.

A weak low is forecast to move right over Cincinnati so coverage this afternoon should be very good. Good luck to those who need it and / or want it! :)

I've had a couple of light showers so far today. On the board with 0.02" Temp is currently 72 with a dew of 70. Watching a heavy downpour currently located to my west over SE IN. Will see if it holds together or not. Another downpour in SW OH along the river in Clermont Co near Moscow. That's basically it right now.

New cells are developing over IN so let's keep an eye on those for early afternoon. I think we'll get another push around dinner time then things should begin to diminish by this evening.

I think the writings on the wall for my hood. Missed yesterday looks like will be missed again today. Typical though. Guess I get to wait another week to see which way I can get missed then as well. :)

Scattered line segments and clusters too of storms continue to develop moving to the NE. Everyone is fair game at anytime for thunder, lightning, winds to 30 mph and heavy downpours. Nothing severe at this time.

As we get towards the second half of next week, the upper 80s may return to the area for about 2 maybe 3 days. I still do not see 90. Looking longer term, my thoughts are still for a cool down and a decent trough sometime near the Labor Day weekend. Then the tropics could fire up and we turn warm again after Labor Day? Let's see how these ideas pan out. Anyone else have any long term thoughts right now?

Indeed! I've got 77 / 72 here. Very soupy. You can cut it with a knife it's so thick! After that last round of rain we had last evening, the airmass felt great for a short time anyway.
