Holding at .70" here. More clouds today early on. More light to moderate widely scattered showers today with brief heavier downpours. Maybe some t-showers late morning Into the afternoon hours with areas along and east of 71 having the better chance

I know just enough about weather to be dangerous!
Very little here. Every time ILN issues a flood watch my dome flexes its muscle. So I guess I won't see much today either then it'll pour over the weekend.
Good Morning and since yesterday a whopping 0.14 inches of rain. With everything moving slowly hard to make a prediction that would be correct for all locations. Tons of moisture in the air as we know and even without the sun you just step outside and sweat. Hopefully more folks get involved with the rain today and yes folks south and east of 71 have the most likely chance but these storms can pop up anywhere and sit for and hour or two and you get a decent amount of rain.
That little cell is just sitting over me and dropping very heavy rains now! Wow! Will check my weather station later and report how much I get once it's done.

Awesome Les! Gives me hope that my dome will give in today as well. Although I think most of the action will be to my east today.

3rd round occurring now, this is great! Lots of training over this area this morning.
Les,its nice because we get a little break between rounds so some of this soaks in before the next round. Very little sun so vegetation is just soaking in all this wonderful rain.

I mowed yesterday and the lawn is responding nicely today! Greenest it's been in a lot of years. Normally come August I stop mowing since it's all burnt out. Not this year. 1.08" at CVG now as of 10am.
Total so far in two days is 0.37 so though I am not getting the heavier rains still enough to keep things green. Funny how rainfall totals can be so different just a few miles away but I have always noticed in my area usually get heavier rains when coming in from the west and lighter rains than others when coming in from the south to southwest direction. Topography plays such a roll in local conditions.

This is one of the longest down pour I've seen in quite a while, I can see a flash flood advisory or warning coming out soon for some of our counties.
Hey Joe,glad you are seeing the rain but hopefully not any flooding. Still waiting for the next round here and still holding at 0.37

It's let up some but there's another blob just to my south moving slowing north. Hopefully this back building slows down and get a break before more later on?
I have noticed the radar this morning and you can see Boone county and western Hamilton country doing well with rainfall totals. I live in western Kenton county and big drop off in rainfall totals.
