12z ILN sounding had convective temp of 88 which we have obviously met.

Currently 92 in my hood.

Cluster of storms looks to be heading near or slightly west of Les's hood. Will prob go up into central/western Hamilton County in a bit if it holds together.

I agree with Les the weather outside is nasty. I know Bgoney handles the heat better then I do but of course anything over 50 and I start to sweat.

Nice little boundary there as Mike mentioned. So far, it's stationary not moving a whole lot. A little training starting to get going too as Bgoney mentioned. Localized, but it's so close to my hood that's why I am watching it. Still in training with work thru like mid October so lots of time for me to post.

Watched Brian's video and wonderful as always. He seems to talking about the pattern over the next week or so and how we may get a break next week but again he knows how tough it is to get these fronts much further than northern Tn. Could be a battle between some nice air in the great lakes and northeast fighting the Bermuda High which is trying to push a little further westward. Much of the heat this season has been when the ridge out west flexes its muscles but this weekend more of the Bermuda High. Of course over the next two days the High is helping throw tons of moisture this way and with a dying front this can produce some decent rains. The weekend might be okay but hot as the Bermuda High is far enough west to have the moisture train further to our west. Models will go back and forth on this so just trying to grasp what I believe could happen over the next 4 days and then see where the stronger front is located and if the cooler air from the north or the Bermuda High wins out and again it could come to a stand still which could enhance rainfall for a few extra days next week.

Many times with these storms they ramp up quick but also collapsed quickly and you will see the outflow form the previous form another small shower or thundershower. Guessing when and where is almost impossible to forecast.

Talking points from yesterday for the days ahead look good. Non-Domer's get soaked , while the Domer's smell the rain down the street. Coverage for today is better than we've seen lately, still in the 30-50% range for the region.

Had another ground wetter overnight. At least the dust isn't an issue. I'm good with not seeing any rain and with all of the chances upcoming, everyone is bound to get something. Some of you will get too much of a good thing. NW portions of AV Country currently impacted with everyone else dry at this time. Once we get some heating, that will change.
