Brief gusty winds as that cell moved in here but mostly heavy rain. Up to 1.7" for the event and still experiencing heavy rain.
Sorry Mike...wish I could share some of this because I have WAY too much. Going out of town Saturday and I need to mow!!!
Wow congrats!! I am used to it here - happens almost all the time.

Dang Mike! Hopefully tonight and Friday helps you out.
If that Blob of moisture to our south holds together, a good chunk of the forum is in for a few hours of steady to at times heavy rain the rest of the evening

I don't see why it won't. Not because I need the rain (I don't) but I'm all in for breaking the wettest May on record at CVG!

Yeah, I was thinking similar thoughts. I think I will feed the pups a little early so I can get my male dog walked before it gets here.
Looks like our SE counties are getting the severe wx with plain ole rain for the rest of us. As of 5pm, CVG is up to 8.69" of rain for the month. 0.84" to go to break the record. Currently now sitting at #6 on the list.
8.83" as of midnight at CVG. We need about 0.70" which I don't think we will get from the upper low today. I was hoping we would have seen more yesterday or overnight but didn't happen. Anyway after today we are dry thru at least Tues, maybe Wed. We warm up as you know from the 70s tomorrow to the 80s to perhaps 90 by Tues / Wed? Then storms and cooler air arrives again. Currently, next weekend is wonderful looking in the 70s.
Here is a look at the ILN Storm Total - you can see the I-75 gap pretty well (the dot is where I am LOL). Hardest hit areas look like Adams/Pike counties and also north/northwest of Dayton.

The upper low sure looked much healthier yesterday. It has def ingested somewhat drier air so rains will probably be more spotty and not as widespread as I at least originally expected so some good news if you've seen a bunch of rain and not so good news if you are wanting more. Come on Mike! Get your rain magnet out and draw that upper low on in!
Some nice showers to my southwest currently. Optimistic me says I will get hit.....but pessimistic me says they will glide by to the west and redevelop to my east LOL

I believe the upper low is actually tracking more to the north then what the models had originally projected so I would remain optimistic also for your hood to be honest.
