All snow now here in Deer Park. Flake size ranging from quarters to half dollar size. Impressive.

My friend across the street is registering 30 right now on their weather station. I’ll have to check that. Seems a bit cold. But most areas around town are now in the lower to middle 30s thanks to that band that set up. We’re gonna hit 1-2” here for sure based on radar trends. Cars, roofs, and grass have a good covering. More to come.

UK April so far,ranks as the coldest April since 1922, and the 18th coldest since records began 362 years ago.

Good news is - if ya don't like the cold and snow, you don't have long to wait. Next week looks very spring-like with 70s returning.

2-3" for many folks across the region this morning. Looks like a winter wonderland out there this morning instead of spring! We broke two daily snowfall records. From 4/20, the old record was a trace and we got 0.4". The 1.5" record from 1901 for 4/21 was also broken with CVG picked up 2.3". Truly impressive indeed! Many spots across KY observed their latest snowfall on record. 1.8" at LOU is their heaviest late season snowfall on record per a tweet from BG.

CVG's seasonal snowfall now stands at 31.9!

In Ripley I had a covering. Got to school at Georgetown and about 1 to 2 inches. Big difference in 20 miles.

We'll see what happens with the rain / snow / graupel chance this afternoon. It'll be scattered in coverage. Frost late tonight into tomorrow morning and then a wet Saturday. Nice weather Sun - Tues maybe Wed before things get active again.
