Tigers begin the 2022 season with a West Coast trip. Home opener is April 8th against the White Sox. By the way, is the baseball lockout issue been resolved? Are we going to even have a season?

I just checked, bro, and it still hasn't been resolved.
Absolutely infuriating for fans as the already mega bucks players need more money like a "hole in the head"!
I still remember i.e. the 1994-'95 strike that went from Aug 12th to April 2nd and of course a season without a WS in '94!
It's stuff like this that turns me off. We overpay as a nation athletes instead of teachers, doctors, and cops. Like people we need and depend on daily. I don't need a sports star for anything minus entertainment. So yes, the price we pay to be entertained. Wow...

The yet continued lockout has UNfortunately canceled Opening Day on March 31st!
Manfred said he is canceling the first two series of the season that was set to begin March 31, dropping the schedule from 162 games to likely 156 games at most. Manfred said the league and union have not made plans for future negotiations. Players won't be paid for missed games.
Looks like baseball used to be America's Pastime the way it's going. Whenever there are problems like this, the fans are the only ones who suffer, As usual.
Fri March 18th against the Phillies begins Spring Training games for My Tigers. A video from Manager AJ Hinch explaining that we might be finally addressing the the decades old pitching issues in Detroit.

Redlegs have their 1st spring training game also on 3/18 vs the Indians (Guardians just doesn't sound right) at 4:05 ET.
Redlegs Opening Day in Cincy will be on Tues 4/12 vs the Indians at 4:10.
We can say Indians, Redskins, etc on this forum as you know Bro.
