tpweather wrote: Fri Feb 11, 2022 7:38 am A nice light snow falling during the game would be great. Neighbors start the party at 4pm so by 630 when the game starts I should have finished my first beer lol. My problem with the Bengals in big games and this goes back over 40 years is I drink tons of beer when I am nervous and really never stop during the game. Lucky my wife will be there and hand me a water or two over those 6-7 hours.
 :lmao: Might be a good time to whip out the cards during the half time show. I see easy money! :lmao:
Lol. My guess 2 hours of cards before the game and no doubt during the halftime show.
I used to play poker every Friday with some people for over 20 years a long time ago. I play with the fam every once and a while. I play more Euchre over the winter usually. Love Texas Hold'em, too!

Still have 1-2" of ice ruts the length of drive, hope the rain and warmth today can make a bigger dent

My driveway is clean because it faces south. My back patio is still a nice play to ice skate. Hopefully that will be gone before the heavier rains later next week. Moving my moms furniture out next Wednesday and that day looks great in terms of mild weather.

Might make a run at 60 if we get enough sun.

Mike looks somewhat further south than yesterday. Really want to see if the models move north or south today and of course much of that has to do with the strength of the system. Euro and Gfs pretty much in agreement and the CMC is further south but that model has been bad this season.

45 at CVG, temps are skyrocketing today with the warm S flow even with some clouds. Mid 50s perhaps?

12Z GFS has 0.04" QPF for the SB afternoon and evening clipper. Best run I've seen yet actually. With temps in the 20s, maybe 1/2" to 1" in some areas?

52 with filtered sun here at 12:45 pm...light rain a few hours away just in time for the Who Dey pub crawl in Cheviot, we'll be in side for the most part but there will be this tailgate/bomb fire party in the parking lot out back.

If the fire is hot enough and if you'd had enough beers, you'll be fine as long as the rain isn't heavy.

They will have tubs of beer on the sidewalks for everyone to be able to walk on the sidewalks with an open can allowed. It's going to be nuts as there will be a couple retired Bengal players there too. :) Some of the sidewalks still have piled ice on them. Oh well!

Currently ILN has just a 20% chance for snow showers SB Sunday late afternoon and evening. Not expecting much up my way with that low a percentage. ;)

Les,interesting as the Euro sort of had the clipper first and again clippers in the near term not the Euro's cup of tea. The bigger storm next week is weaker this time around with the Euro so its further south. If we can see this trend continue then a little snow if possible at the end of the storm followed by more cold air. Like every other run it shows low pressures in western and central Canada or stronger high pressure. Models really having problem trying to know which way to go which is more towards the forecasts we threw out which you get a few mild days followed by cold and no long term warmth if those highs continue to form in Canada.

The Euro has not been very good this winter, but at the same time, a weaker / SE trend is always possible with that storm next week. If so, SPC has a lot of adjustments to make.

The problem with the little clippers this weekend is the air is so cold and dry on the east side where you need to be normally plus with the cold front just moving through later today not enough warm air return in the central plains. So yes some flurries looks about the best we can do here locally. Best place is in eastern Kentucky and W.Virginia as a nice up slope could give some folks a few inches of snow later Saturday
