I love this Tweet from BG
Re: Kitchen Sink Storm Feb 2-4, 2022
If I had to guess I’d say about 3-4” snow on top of the sleet but that is just a guess. I’m too comfy and warm to go out and check lol

Radar looks great! Nice band over my hood and decent area to the SW of LOU coming in later this morning.
Re: Kitchen Sink Storm Feb 2-4, 2022
That’s awesome Les! Hopefully you guys can make up for the crap sleet fest of yesterday!

Re: Kitchen Sink Storm Feb 2-4, 2022
Thanks Mike, we'll see what happens esp once it gets light. I had 3-4" of sleet on my drieway and cars and you could barely see the tips of the grass when I went to bed last night. All of that should be covered with some kind of snow anyway lol It just looks nasty eye balling it from out the window.

Re: Kitchen Sink Storm Feb 2-4, 2022
The latest update from the boys as of 6:18am.
.NEAR TERM /THROUGH TONIGHT/...
An upper level disturbance in a southwest flow aloft will
combine with weak low to mid level deformation to bring a period
of light snow to the region this morning. Snow accumulations
will be up to an inch. We have decided to cancel the Winter
Storm Warning/Ice Storm Warning headlines and replace them with
a Winter Weather Advisory through 10 AM. This will advise the
public of not only the expectation of some additional snow, but
will keep a winter headline going through the morning commute,
which is expected to be difficult given the recent snow, sleet,
and freezing rain. Snow is forecast to taper off by afternoon as
the disturbance moves away and the low to mid deformation axis
dissipates. It will be cold with highs ranging from the upper
teens north to the upper 20s south.
&&
.SHORT TERM /SATURDAY/...
Another mid level disturbance is poised to drop southeast
across the region tonight. Not much is expected with this
feature except additional clouds and a slight chance of snow
showers across our northern zones. It will be cold with lows
ranging from near 0 in east central Indiana to the single
digits/lower teens elsewhere. There will be enough wind to
product cold wind chill temperatures. These will range from the
single digits east/southeast to near 10 below zero in east
central Indiana. Will make mention of these cold wind chill
temperatures in the HWO.
Arctic high pressure will build into the area later Friday
night and into Saturday in the wake of the mid level
disturbance. It will be partly cloudy and cold with highs
ranging from the upper teens north to the upper 20s south.

Roads traveled in clermont snow covered, and bumpy, like driving on those rumble strips, except the Milford area was clear. Les your brother must pay a lot of taxes

That's where the money is lol They raised taxes for a new school. Their kids are all in elementary but it's a new middle school that they are building so their kids will at least use it later in life.

One gal yesterday tried to go up my hill to go to work. No bueno! No tracks on the street this morning now that I can see good. Light snow still falling. Looks gorgeous with no tracks anywhere yet. Like a post card!

Chopping through the layers in Indian Hill, total accumulation so far 3", 2 inches of sleet and an inch of fluff on top.

Re: Kitchen Sink Storm Feb 2-4, 2022
Same report here as well Les. No wind so the snow is falling softly to the ground. I live at the bottom of the street and hills going up both ways. My guess I will be staying home today.

Oh yea- Milford is rolling in it. We looked at Milford 15 years ago when first married and couldn't afford it. West Clermont took 5 years to get an emergency levy passed and Milford can put icing on the cake for fancy schools.
We love our neighborhood though, and don't want to move. We send our kids to Catholic school instead. That said, I am not looking forward to paying for high school.

Re: Kitchen Sink Storm Feb 2-4, 2022
It's coming down at a decent clip right now. Just saw a squirrel running on top of the sleet / snow combination and never broke through. No tracks. You can just walk on top of this stuff. That means it's caked, heavy and chunky. Going to be tough to clean up.

No doubt! It'll thaw some Sunday, then re-freeze then the rest should get polished off next week.tpweather wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 8:16 amLes I am waiting until March to clean uptron777 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 8:14 am It's coming down at a decent clip right now.
