Intensity has picked up a bit... Still light snow due to small flake size but it is sticking to untreated surfaces. Everything is plenty cold!

Light fine snow is picking up here is Westwood as the gray sidewalks are getting a more white to them. Pretty sad that it has come to this getting excited seeing the sidewalks turning white!

Light but steady snowfall out here in the Eastgate area atm. I'm just seeing a heavy dusting so far. I spoke to one of the supervisors in the field about an hour ago & he's been sitting at a standstill on I75 for over 2 hours between Richmond & Mount Vernon. He guesstimated about 4 1/2 inches fell already.

Central Kentucky has been kicking CVGLAND's butt in the bigger snows department, for the last 10 years or so

A nice steady light snow right now... "heaviest" of the event currently. Wonder if I can get 1/4" to 1/2" out of the deal?

19 now at CVG and here. My high was 23 set back around midnight. Been in the teens to around 20 ever since. Lows of 5 to 10 tonight expected if skies clear out. For those in our far south and SE... if you get an inch plus on the ground and can clear out maybe closer to zero? Central KY will easily get down to zero tonight with their deep snow pack.

Re: 1/6/22 - Possible First Snow of the Season for Some
Looks like the storm has pivoted now so snow will begin to end as time goes on from NW to SE. Back edge currently located over SE IN so for us in the Metro enjoy... it's not going to last too much longer. Should be done for all AV posters by this evening.

Nice pics all! It's wrapping up here. 1/2 to 3/4" here for my final total. As of 5pm, CVG picked up 0.6".
