The good news is that I just received 0.85" of rain...the bad news is that it only took a little over 30 minutes to come down. Water is running everywhere as it rained too hard to be absorbed. Oh well, at least it's something and I'm NOT complaining!

Yesterday was good for me in the rainfall department - .35" in the morning and .75" last night. Last nights storm included a well placed lightening strike leaving me without power for 3 hours.

That squall line means business. Guessing 60+mph winds and very heavy rain!!!!!

Camping at Hoffmaster State Park just south of Muskegon Michigan. Stormy morning with wind gust recorded at 70 mph and over 3 inches of rain. Needless to say, lots of power outages in the area. Thankfully no damage to our equipment.

I mowed this morning too. Couldn't help but wonder when I will mow again with the temperature 64 degrees...it may be October.

In reading post for Sunday's 500 race it isn't sounding to good so far any chances this will miss. I will be attending this year for the first time in years as my daughter was selected to be a Indy 500 princess and will be taking part in the pre-race festivities.
