Rain total at Indian hill was only .25” since Friday

Some areas in Connecticut had 8-12” qpf in less than 12 hours from slow moving, training T-storms

In and around cvgland most areas over the last 3 days have had .50”-1.50” range (some isolated spots to our southeast around 2”). Cbusland unfortunately continues to be in the worst shape with qpf amounts in the .20”-.60” range

Got brushed with that line while still in the development stage , picked up .40” and happy to get that

Outside of CVGs surrounding counties, most in the drought areas(aka, south of 71) received very little rain yesterday, anywhere from nothing to about half an inch. So hopefully more of the drought effected areas can get some action today before more extended dryness sets in

40” in Indian hill. I’ll take every bit of these garden variety showers, with a few rumbles of thunder thrown in and light rain continuing . Just hope its reaching home base

Best hope is still with a weakening cluster of showers early Friday , with areas along and north of 71 (of course) having a better chance of more qpf than areas south

No doubt we’ll see an expansion in the drought south and east of 71 when it comes out tomorrow

Totally agree Les, we are in better shape locally than yesterday for a more widespread event later today. As you mentioned, more cape, more sun and no Cin. So hopefully the region can get a good cluster of heavy rainers later
