I mowed for the first time this season! Will seed and straw some bare spots tomorrow after work before our next rain maker comes in. My spinach should be ready to start cutting in another week or two. Garlic chives are up and ready to start cutting for cooking purposes.

The Northern Plains had a dry winter too. Could be a hotter then normal area if trends continue this summer. If the heat remains west, we'll be stormy and humid. Beats hot and dry lol I would like that outlook if it were to pan out.

Peak wind gust here was 40 mph. CVG I believe had 45 mph.

I was under 2 t-storm warnings overnight but never lost power.

Storms are firing in West KY / TN Those are rapidly moving NE and those are the ones we need to watch for us later this evening. Some cells have already moved up into Central KY. Storm motion is very quickly... probably 50-60 mph.
